My Journey with Clean Korean Cosmetics and BEIGIC: A Tale of Transformation and Friendship

Hello everyone, I’m Josipa Pipunic, the founder of Divote Cosmetics. Today, I want to share my journey with clean Korean cosmetics and a hidden gem I discovered along the way—BEIGIC.

My relationship with clean Korean cosmetics began around four years ago. Since my youth, I struggled with problematic skin, particularly acne. By 2020, I decided it was time to take better care of my skin. This decision led me down a path of extensive research into clean Korean cosmetics. 

Understanding the ingredients and their benefits took some time, but the results were truly transformative. My skin improved significantly, and I became a lover of the power of Korean skincare. It was essential to me that the products were clean, meaning they did not contain any toxic ingredients. Clean products are gentle on your skin and formulated to ensure they have no negative effects on any part of your body.

The Serendipitous Encounter with BEIGIC

During my skincare journey, I stumbled upon BEIGIC. Initially, it was a hidden gem that I discovered through Instagram. From the very first moment, I felt a strong connection with the brand. The packaging, design, and overall aesthetic of BEIGIC resonated with me deeply. It wasn’t just another brand I wanted to sell; it was something I genuinely believed in.My dream of opening a webshop dedicated to clean Korean Cosmetics included showcasing BEIGIC to customers. My first visit to Korea solidified this connection. I met Kate, the founder of BEIGIC, in her beautifully designed BEIGIC café. The moment I entered, I knew this was the feeling I wanted to replicate in our Materra, the Wellness & Wholeness hotel we were designing at the time.

BEIGIC: The Complete Package

Using BEIGIC products was a revelation. Unlike other clean cosmetics, which often miss the mark in packaging, experience, or results, BEIGIC offers a complete package. It provided a special routine that truly felt like “me time” during the day. This is essential in our fast-paced modern world, where everyone needs a moment of self-care.

Understanding the profound impact BEIGIC had on my skin and overall well-being, I felt compelled to share this experience with others. The journey began with our hotel Materra, where BEIGIC’s products were not only part of the spa treatments but also available in guest rooms as amenities. This ensured that every guest could experience a moment of self-care, even if they didn’t visit the spa.

I wanted to challenge the misconception that Korean cosmetics are overly complicated with numerous steps. BEIGIC is proof that effective skincare can be simple and still deliver amazing results. It’s about quality ingredients and listening to your skin’s needs.

Building a Community of Beauty Enthusiasts

The Croatian market is ripe for something as unique and effective as BEIGIC. The interest in Korean cosmetics has been growing, and BEIGIC stands out with its simplicity and effectiveness. It’s about creating a personal connection, a story that resonates with people. Kate, the heart behind BEIGIC, and I, as a passionate advocate, bring authenticity to the brand.

A Warm Welcome in Croatia

Our introduction of BEIGIC in Croatia has been incredibly positive. Everyone sees a place for BEIGIC in their lives, from cosmetic salons to niche shops. Our Luxury Nature Escape Event where we’ve presented Beigic has been a success, with people connecting deeply with the brand and its story. We are expanding our reach to include more cosmetic and hair salons, retail shops, and even makeup artists. BEIGIC is becoming a part of everyday life for many, fitting seamlessly into various routines and professions.

The Vision Forward

My vision for BEIGIC in Croatia is to present it in a warm, positive light, spreading the word through genuine connections rather than just retail sales. It’s about showing how BEIGIC can be part of your life, regardless of your job, age, or location. BEIGIC can fit into any routine, bringing quality and joy to daily self-care.
